I spent a truly relaxing day at the Chelsea Sea Spa - conveniently located next to the Tropiciana - it wasn't as fancy as other spas I've been too - I had to ask for a blowdryer - not many amenities in the women's locker room, but the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I had a Swedish massage with Lisa - and it had to be the best and most relaxing one I've had and ocean resort casino atlantic city spa I get them quite frequently! The jacuzzis are wonderful too. When we were checking out they seemed annoyed that we even wanted to share our experience. They woke us up early by calling the room (after only going to bed at 3am) to say that our credit card wasn’t working and I said thats strange but I’ll stop to see why when get up. While checking out they were all but arguing with me about our credit card and I said you must’ve entered something wrong and twice I told him to stop typing it in and just swipe it or let me tap it to pay. Once again he was annoyed and gave me back the credit card so I could use the tap to pay for the transaction and it worked fine! So then he stated, oh I must’ve had something typed wrong. The spa service is very good, Marina is always the lady that made my facial , she is the best , Chris made my massage, and it was the best really, no complain, I also went to the salon , Gina was always good , not this time, the highlights she made were so bad, the color too orange , look like brass, horrible, and also I don’t know what she did but she burned my hair out, I’m really disappointed, now I will have to pay to someone else to fix what she ruined .. every time when I see my hair I just wanna scream, orange and burn…for the spa I’d like to give 5 stars but for the salon 1, so I’ll give 3. There was only me and the other lady there. There were no distractions. The obnoxious woman just didn't care how she came off or how annoyed she was making customers. Myself and the other customer were just amazed at how awful the service from this woman was. Anyway, after 15 minutes, the manager came and unlocked my locker with some device but by then I was over it and just decided to call it quits and ask for a refund because it was all feeling like a job rather than a joy. Honestly, I don't think I was missing much in the hot tub room because it was quite small. The pool downstairs was beautiful and clean with lots of courtesy towels, but unfortunately was basically a Chuck-e-Cheese. Kids screaming for hours. There was supposed to be two hot tubs.
